we recently stayed at a charming little hotel in a peaceful village. Posada Calera was a functional room with all the basic necessities. For the price, it was excellent. The staff provided very quick and friendly service, and it was a good place to store our bikes. Despite being located above a bar, the room was surprisingly quiet at night. There was also a good restaurant just a couple of kilometers away. we had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Posada Calera.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 😊

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast spread was delicious. Additionally, the hotel facilities were top-notch, including the parking area and easy transportation options. The location down the mountain provided for breathtaking scenic views.

The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby beautiful area. The staff was friendly, accommodating and happy to help with anything we needed, making us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious, providing all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay.

One negative aspect of our stay was that the walls were quite thin, we could hear some noise from the other rooms around us. , the breakfast offered was somewhat basic, with limited options to choose from.

We loved the simple yet cozy accommodation with comfortable beds and clean rooms. The homemade breakfast was delicious and there was always plenty of it. The hotel is conveniently located close to hiking trails and parks providing an easy and pleasant way to explore the area in a short amount of time.

The hotel lacked a bit of atmosphere and could have benefited from some more decor in the common areas. The Wi-Fi signal was weak and unreliable at times.

The welcoming staff ensured we had everything we needed, from toothbrushes and toiletries to a delicious gluten-free meal. The Spanish cuisine at dinner and breakfast was simply mind-blowing. This authentic Spanish retreat was the perfect stop on our bike trip, with functional rooms and quick bike storage. With the convenient location just 45 minutes from Bilboa, we would definitely return.

The value for our money at this hotel was excellent. Our room was cool and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and meet our needs.

The only thing that could have improved the breakfast would be an earlier opening time. Starting at 9 am meant we had to make sure not to arrive hungry, as we couldn't grab a meal first thing in the morning.

Very welcoming staff, exceeded expectations. Cool room upon arrival. Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and shower gel provided. Large dinner: mixed salad with tuna, eggs with homemade chips and ham. Accommodated gluten-free request with bread. Generous breakfast with fresh orange juice, cakes, bread, jam, butter.

We wanted a quiet village experience and this stay was everything we hoped for. The hotel owners were warm and thoughtful, despite the language barrier. They served a great meal at a good price and our room was comfortable and clean. The staff even drove us to the train station the next morning. We can highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting a peaceful stopover.
